I think Pianoteq is very impressive for what it is,Īnd I agree it beats most mid level piano libraries.īut I don't know, the resonance is not perfect,Īnd I find the Attack of the notes very monotonous/repetitive.Īs if every note had the same attack sound/tone, So in the end I always crave for Piano in Blue. Ravenscroft is so incredibly Clear and Clean it's amazing,īut it's got a much Brighter sound, more akin to pure Classical, Noire is great too, and very Featured/versatile,īut as good as it is, there's some kind of "synthetic modulation" going on in the sustained notes which distracts me a little. I find the Timbre/Tone, and even the Attack of the notes to be so Tasty and on the spot. So far my favorite for practicing/learning is Piano in Blue, can't help it.

So, while I’ll be among the first to say NI support is pretty terrible for a pro to wade through, going back to Kore 2 and what was it, Komplete 6 at the time, sometimes they fix things, and sometimes it’s not their fault. but a couple of mouse clicks and I’m back in business, easy peasy. The only problem is the one stated before, where Komplete Kontrol randomly chooses to reset pedal CONFIGURATIONS. But with my MK II KK61, I’ve had zero issues with either my Yamaha expression pedal or my Roland DP-10. Lest you believe I don’t know what I’m doing, they agreed to take back that keyboard because they realized that they gave me bad information after all. So, coming from my KK61, original version, for which I was promised that a continuous control pedal would work, I understand that sometimes NI has their heads up their collective a**es.
